Do you ever feel like God is far off? Maybe your circumstances, or the outcomes of things that you didn't expect have led you to feel like "where was God in all this?" Or, "Did he even hear my prayers?"
What about your worship? Are there times when you sing, or think, or respond wondering if God cares or hears?
I love the truth that an imprisoned Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus:
"...in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him." ~Ephesians 3:11-12
Wherever you find yourself, and whatever you may be going thru or struggling with...and it's okay to struggle. Paul was suffering in prison; Always remember that in Christ Jesus not only does God hear our prayer and receive our worship, but He grants you access to cry out to Him. And you can have the confidence, that without a shadow of a doubt he hears you.
There is an invitation for those who follow Jesus. An invitation to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.
No matter how distant or quiet God can seem in different trials or circumstances, allow the assurance that God hears you and wants to hear you ignite prayers of faith and unashamed adoration in your life. He is always there, and He loves you with the love of a perfect Father.
